  1. If you were to recreate this experiment, what aspects of it would you change, and why?

  2. Did the results of this experiment surprise you? How so?

  3. In your opinion, do you think that variables in this experiment (prisoners’ state of mind, Zimbardo’s role, etc) affected the results?

  4. Are there aspects of the experiment that are statistically incorrect? Why or why not?

  5. Realistically, do you think that this experiment can be repeated and follow all necessary requirements in this era given the current ethical restrictions and guidelines of the APA?

  6. Do you think that the pros of this experiment outweigh the cons?

  7. If you were to be chosen to be part of this experiment, either a guard or prisoner, do you think that you would succumb to your role like the original participants?
